I couldn’t do this all alone,
The success with which I have met would not even remotely be possible without the help of many wonderful friends and family and even some of my very first clients who have believed in me so much over the last three years. Not the least of which has been Nicole. NIcole is my husbands baby cousin, and she started babysitting our children 4 years ago when we moved here and she was just starting high school, as the business grew she took on administrative tasks for me and began to learn a little bit about the creative side of the business by the second Christmas I was in business Nicole was interested enough that her parents and I chipped in to buy her her first SLR…. That was almost two years ago now and she is more knowledgeable about what she’s doing and why then most! She’s also my chief editor, and does the vast majority of my retouching. But more than that Nicole has been my partner here, she’s family and this business has been as much her baby during it’s conception at times as mine. Nicole has started to attend college this fall and is spending less time here than I have seen her in the last 4 years, she’ll always be here in spirit but for a while less in the physical. Nicole is an incredibly mature, responsible and intelligent young lady and it has been my honor to share so much of her time these past four years. Nicole, you have been my rock, never wavering in your support, cheering me from the sidelines and pushing me up the hill from behind when I wanted to lie on the ground and quit. I love you so much sometimes I forget you aren’t one of our kids. I know that no matter where you go in your life you will be an incredible success, and you will always have this place to call home. With so much love from the whole family…

So we’ve tried on a few other shoes to find the right fit and ended up right back where we started with an exceptional young woman. Please allow me to introduce Morgen! she’s already got her foot into the photography world and in my opinion is quite the natural talent I’m excited to watch Morgen grow as a photographer, and you should be too! So far I can tell you that she is a very intelligent young lady who’s got a great head on her shoulder and is really passionate about photography! Morgen is staring with the basics and working her way up but with her passion for the business I’m sure she’ll be running her own race soon enough! Morgen girl you landed on my doorstep like it was meant to be and I believe it was I am SO excited about having you hear and I am really looking forward to watching you grow from a young lady into an incredible woman!

Last but not least we have the only boy who gets to play on the team ever…
So I met Grant last year at the Annual Pug Christmas Party, he was chatting it up with Cate who was working for me at the time, and who we still adore =). Anyway Grant is totally passionate about what he does and he’s an incredible shooter every time we go out for a wedding he comes back with better and better images, having a background in Video he really understands his lighting which is a wonderful treat because as you should know, I like to use my lights =).
Grant started hanging around at the house this year and we all rather enjoy him =). He has a natural eye and is our technical know how boy, since he works in a camera repair shop he knows more about my camera than I do half the time I lovingly call him our “geek”. Grant will be riding shotgun and be my primary second shooter for the 2010 season, and you should be excited about that we are an awesome team. Someone actually told me this summer that Myself, Nicole and Grant worked more like one than any two photographers they had seen before, and I take great pride in that compliment our goal is to be seamless! Grant thank you so much for all your help this year, your artistry is only beginning to emerge and I’m giddy at the idea of what we can do together, I’m looking forward to Rocking a whole ‘lotta wedding with you next year!
